Each Felivine Silvervine Stick typically lasts one week, depending on your cat's "play rate": How often and vigorously a particular cat plays until a toy is spent.

Here is a quick guide for understanding how many Felivine Silvervine Sticks your cat may need based on their estimated play rate:

• Our Trial 6 Pack is best to gauge your cat's response to silvervine, and learn their approximate play rate. The average lifespan of a Felivine Stick is one week - based on the play rate of a typical cat.

• Our 12 Pack is recommended for 2 cat households to use as a trial pack, or for households with senior cats who are known to respond to silvervine but whose play rate may be lower.

• Our 24 pack is ideal for cats who are known to respond to the effects of silvervine, and who have an average or above average play rate. Here, owners will make the biggest saving and have roughly a 6 month supply of naturally healthy toys - depending on your fur baby's play rate.
  
  

Felivine Silvervine Sticks are generally safe for cats to use in extended play.

However, depending on your cat's play rate, there is a risk of the wood splintering or of the gall fruit breaking into smaller pieces. As such, it is important to inspect the toy after each play session and dispose of any damaged sticks immediately to minimise the risk of injury or to prevent a choking hazard.

Silvervine is not toxic to cats (or dogs, if you are a doggie parent too). Even in large amounts it does not pose a risk to your cat's health, but it can cause stomach upset for some individuals.
